Mini India has launched the new Mini Cooper S Convertible at ₹58.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This fully imported (CBU) soft-top model is now available for booking, with deliveries starting immediately.

Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 201bhp and 300Nm of torque, it pairs with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The car accelerates from 0-100km/h in 6.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240km/h.

The electrically operated fabric roof opens in 18 seconds (or closes in 15) at speeds up to 30km/h and can partially open as a sunroof. Boot space measures 215 litres with the roof closed (160 litres when folded).
Exterior updates include redesigned round LED headlamps with multiple signatures, a new grille, vertically aligned flush LED tail lamps, and 18-inch two-tone alloys. It offers four vibrant colours: British Racing Green, Chili Red, Sunny Side Yellow, and Ocean Wave Green.
Inside, a minimalist dashboard features a round OLED display running BMW Operating System 9, supporting navigation, connected services, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an Intelligent Personal Assistant. It comes with a standard two-year unlimited-kilometre warranty and 24×7 roadside assistance. Priced ₹14.80 lakh above the standard Cooper S hatch and ₹4.1 lakh over the JCW trim, it competes with premium convertibles like the BMW Z4 and Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet.
